1 Comment | PermalinkAlbum Updates from Cinema Bizarre
Cinema Bizarre posted a video message today to give fans an update about the album. The single has been delayed until early August, and has been changed from “My Obsession” to “I Came 2 Party”, which they recorded with Space Cowboy after the tour with Lady GaGa. The reason for the change is that “My Obsession” has been spread all over the internet already, and has been downloaded many times. This also came with an announcement that their new album ToyZ will be delayed until the middle of August.
But, it wasn’t all bad news! On May 18th they will be releasing a song on their website to download for free, to help make the wait more bearable.

Earlier this week I was informed by Universal Music that Cinema Bizarre merchandise would be coming to Canada!
Starting May 21st you’ll be able to buy a Cinema Bizarre t-shirt at D-Tox stores in Canada, and for a limited time you’ll get an EP containing the songs “Lovesongs (They Kill Me)” and “Escape to the Stars” with the t-shirt purchase. The t-shirt may be sold on D-Tox’s website, but it’s unlikely the EP will be.

Because of all the recent touring in the US, Cinema Bizarre had to push back the release of the “My Obsession” single and ToyZ. The new release dates are May 29th and June 12th, respectively.

The release date for ToyZ in Germany has been set for May 29th and is now listed on Amazon.de. If you’re interested in pre-ordering, it should be open soon and right now you can sign up for email updates.
A video interview done by Cinema Bizarre while they were in the US indicates that ToyZ may not be coming to North America, and that it will be a mix of Final Attraction and ToyZ instead. It’s still possible ToyZ will be coming to Canada though, because in the interview they only confirmed that CD (which currently is untitled) for the US. We’re working on getting you more info on this!
